Paver patios? Landscaping? Retaining walls? Check out some options to include in your outdoor living space.

With the worst of winter finally behind us, spring fever has us excitedly anticipating warmer temperatures and evenings spent outdoors! However, there are probably a few things on your to-do list before you pull out the patio furniture and fire up the grill. Now is the perfect time to plan and schedule projects to update your outdoor living spaces!  If you haven’t given much thought to which spring projects are on the top of your to-do list, we’re here to help! Not sure where to begin? Start with our top three spring project planning tips!

  1. Consider your space & Establish project goals
Begin by considering which areas of your current lawn and landscape could use a renovation or a little TLC. If you haven’t yet, browse garden and landscaping websites or magazines for inspiration! Before breaking ground on any landscaping project, establish your project goals. What is the purpose of each project? Is your project aimed at resolving a problem, or are you updating spaces for aesthetic or entertainment purposes? Based on your desired outcomes, one of our professionals can help determine the best course of action to achieve your goals for each project.
  1. Determine your budget
No matter your budget, there are spring projects to liven up any outdoor living space! With that being said, it’s important to determine what you’re willing to spend and prioritize your project goals around that amount. From minor projects, like raised flower beds or paver pathways, to entire patio renovations and outdoor kitchens, options are available at a variety of price points. Be sure to discuss your overall budget and project goals with our professionals prior to getting started, so we can help you plan financially for every phase of your project.
  1. Double check county and HOA code restrictions
While most counties and HOAs don’t have significant limits in place that would restrict landscaping plans and hardscape projects (unless your plan involves something outrageous), it’s best to check before you invest time and money into a project. This is especially true if you plan to install a fire pit or outdoor kitchen. Play it safe and research local municipality guidelines and HOA restrictions prior to beginning any project.

Outdoor Kitchens & Grills

Outdoor kitchens and grills are one of the more luxurious ways to maximize your outdoor living spaces. Not only are they great for entertaining, they offer a convenient way to keep the heat and mess outside when you’d rather be enjoying the beautiful weather than slaving away over a stove indoors. We’ll work with you to custom design and build a space just in time for grilling season!

Fire pits

Installing a fire pit is a great way to extend the life of your outdoor spaces, allowing you to enjoy spring evenings outdoors a little earlier than you would otherwise. Is there any better way to spend an evening than seated around a fire? We certainly don’t think so, which is why designing and building built in fire pits is one of our specialties!  When installing a fire pit, there is a lot to consider including location, style, type, and necessary safety measures. Be sure to work with our professionals through each step of the planning process!
